Great Teachers, Bike Acidents,

Hello my lovely readers! :)
There are 7 of you now and I am so pleased that you took time out of your day to read this. I know I am not the best writer (far from it actually..) but I am in Journalism 1 and English 2 H this school year. Hopefully I can post some writings from those classes and my writing skills will improve the more I type on this blog, and write in school.

Oh yeah, school started last Tuesday for me. I am a sophomore this year. I can't believe how much older I feel with freshmen around. I see the short boys and girls; walking around either gabbing away with friends, or looking around fearfully at all the people they don't know. Man I remember my freshman days... I am so thankful that I found great friends that year.:) I don't have many classes with my very good friends, but their is an acquaintance or two in each class so I will survive. :)

I'm so surprised at how lucky I got with teachers this year. Let's just say the last 3 years of school... I've had teachers that just... give me the hebejebes. That is the best way I can say it. But this year, I've got a great group! My journalism teacher is hilarious, but I think the class itself will be one of the hardest classes for me. I am not used to writing news. I'm used to attempting to be witty, sarcastic and funny in my writings (which is basically this blog). You can't exactly put sarcasm or opinions in news articles; that'd be disastrous. Being un-biased is key. I am taking this class so I can take photographs for my school's paper and yearbook; so it'll be tough but I will pull through.

My English teacher is funny too, just on a more crazy level. She likes to play disco-inferno music while we play Find-Someone-Who. This will be a fun class:) For one of my papers, I've written about how Youtube is my main form of entertainment.. I wonder what she'll think when I used the word "vlogger" (To her she might not think it's a word...) I don't have photography until next semester but I do have my future photography teacher as my study hall type teacher. She's very nice and let's us talk.:)

In other non-school related news, I fell off my bike, again...
I tried turning because my brakes failed and the turn was too sharp, so I hit the ground. I'm okay but I think I need a bike with proper brakes. I went to see Despicable Me with three of my friends last night. That film was just as funny as the first time I saw it, I totally recommend it. Then we went for some gelato downtown. Then we headed to a park and ran around, skipped, and rolled down hills. Very fun :)

*Four hours later*

I just got back from church, and it was fun.We cleaned up the youth room, played volleyball, ate pizza, and played games to get to know new people to the youth group. Have I mentioned how much I love them? Then I DROVE, that's right, DROVE home.In the dark. I did well though my dad gave me 8/10.:)

School tommorow, must get to sleep.Ta ta!

School starts tomorrow : /

Hello readers!
It has been a blah Monday.
School starts tomorrow.I am excited to go back to school, but I am not excited for the whole waking up early thing. I need to start going to bed before 11 or I will not be a happy person by 7 am. I have my outfit picked out, my back pack is packed, my phone is on silent; I am ready.:)

I love it when school time comes around. I love getting new school supplies, some new clothing items... but I like making goals for the school year. It amuses me because I hardly ever follow through with them. For example, "This year, I am going to overcome my fear of public speaking" *rolls eyes* That has not happened for years. Or, that I'm going to give my all in every class so I can get the best grade possible.I give up on that by the 3rd day of school. There was also that one year I tried to improve my handwriting... wasn't good... Good thing this is a blog, not a diary because you wouldn't be able to read a single thing.:D

Anyways, I now realize that some goals are too big, too high for me to reach yet. I will still make tiny goals, but I won't share them, (they are to mundane for mentions). I've enjoyed my summer and high school is something you just have to do. But being a sophomore, I know who my friends are, which will make this year easier and a lot more fun. My main goal is to be a better sister, daughter, and friend. That's more important than school, no matter what anyone says.:)

6 followers, I'm excited! That may not seem like a lot to you but, for you guys to care about my life that much...he he..:)Are you in school? What are you looking foreword to? As for me, Halloween is going to rock.

Thanks for reading, much love,
Rebecca(:

Disco Dancing, Driving Lessons, and A Day Full of Stuff.

I owe you a blog. Sorry I didn't write yesterday like I said I would. Some of my senior friends from my youth group were leaving and I had to say my goodbyes. I have a lot of updates to give you.
Are you ready? K I'll give you a sec....

Here goes....

Blue Seal & I are halfway trough our 6 week exercise program.YAY!!!:)This week our focus is going to be on abs, which I am looking foreword to.:) On Saturday we woke up early, and around 8 we rode bikes, looking for garage sales. We only found one but it was awesome. We got two water-guns, a video for my little bro, and two Sega game cartridges. It was very successful.

After words we did our muscle building exercise. Then we did a dance workout video with Pink Fuzz and their older sister. I am no dancer, haha.:)Maybe we can do those kinds of exercise videos after we finish our program. Then we went swimming and we made some collages for our school folders, which turned out beautiful.:) They were going to go thrift store shopping with me today, but Blue Seal and Pink Fuzz called in sick.:(

That afternoon, I drove for the first time.I didn't do bad...okay I just ran over a curb; once. I was driving our vehicle that has a stick shift. The stick shift and the clutch really were hard for me to grasp. Today after my dad & I ran a bunch of errands, we went driving again, but with a different car. This one was automatic and it was much easier to drive. A officer rode by me and didn't pull me over, I'm doing something right!:D

Today we got a lot done. I went thrift store shopping (half off, STORE WIDE!:) My dad was quite bored I think, but he cheered up when we went school supply shopping. Be very cautious if you ever enter a school supply store with me.I will go nuts.(: We got ice cream, went to Wal-mart, picked up some dinner, I practiced driving, and then we headed home. Busy day...

Forgive me of my blabbering, I had a lot to tell you. I will try to post more often so I won't have to play catch-up and bore you to tears.lol:)How's your summer going? It's coming to an end so soon...

I PASSED!!!:D

Hello!:)

As you can tell by the title, I got my permit! At first I didn't think I would be able to get it because I had forgotten some of the required documents at home. I did have to documents to be able to take the actual tests. I passed quite easily which was awesome! They told me to sign something and to go to the next floor.

At the next floor, me and my dad signed some papers. When they needed the documents we didn't have, we just called my mom and she gave them the info over the phone.  I got another driving guide and got my picture taken. In 2 minutes, I had my learner's permit.:) I haven't driven yet , but I will start learning soon!

Afterwards, we went to Mcdonalds for some ice cream. We headed to our insurance agent to get another book to read and complete so we could get a discount. Then we went to Wal-Mart and got some stuff. While we were driving to do all these things, my dad started giving me these random driving tips now.I guess he has a right to now, since I have my permit. I'm going to work hard so I can get my license in 6 months. It's gonna be sweet.:)

Roller Coasters & Failing

Hello!:)

When I was younger, I used to go to amusement parks all the time.We had the $$ to go every few months or so, and I loved it. Now-a-days, not so much. This whole suckish economy + my autistic brother makes it hard for us to do anything as a family. So amusement park trips as a family: GONE.

I do get to go with my youth group and friends occasionally. I had never gone on an "upside down" roller coaster. I didn't want to try it, find out I get sick, and throw up on my friends (they'd be less forgiving than family, I thought) So this limited my choices in rides, majorly.

But I went with 3 friends on Friday and I went on an upside-down roller coaster for the first time. And I loved it!! It started with a pretty big drop (but not as much as the Dragster)

Top Trill Dragster = My favorite roller coaster EVER!

Then after the drop was lots of upside-down twists, Then it was over.I really liked it. The first time I rode with my eyes closed.I couldn't even tell I was upside-down. The second time my eyes were open except for the drop.By the third time my eyes were open the whole time.

I know, I know, it's lame that it excites me that I opened my eyes on a roller coaster.BIG DEAL! If you've been reading my blog for a while, you should know by now that I live a pretty dull life.:)

In other dull news, I tried to get my learners permit today. I failed the first time and my 2nd chance for the day; FAIL.:( Ah well, I blame my mom, she said she failed hers multiple times before she passed. Just kidding, I didn't fail by much.I went through my driver's guide afterwords and hi-lighted everything I remembered that was on the test so I could try again tomorrow :) No big deal, I won't be able to drive much with my family life.:/ Pray that I will pass tomorrow if you'd like, I'd really appreciate it.:)

Now I must away to read my boring driver's manual. Hope your Monday was better than mine...

Oh and by the way:4 followers! woot woot!!! Thank you guys!=)

Floatin', Exercise, and School's A Coming Soon (:

Hello friends!:)
Long time no blog.A lot has been going on.I will start with this past weekend.:)

I went on a float trip with my youth group. Some people from church camp were able to come too.I had never gone on a float trip, but thankfully I had been canoeing before. I don't know if this applies to all youth groups, but mine likes to tip each other's canoes over.(We help each other afterwards:) Me & my boating partner attempted to tip someone's canoe but we kinda, sorta.... FINE I'll say it; we failed.(: Someone tried to tip us, we commandeered their ship in a way.I jumped back to the canoe and then someone else tipped our canoe. Other than that, it was very fun. Many moss wars ensued, and many attempts to catch minuscule fish.

We ate dinner, played charades & other silly games.I really got to know my friends from church camp a lot better. They are hilarious and I love and miss them so much.:( They don't live nearby so I won't see em' for a while. Also some of my friends from church camp couldn't come so it'll be even longer before I see them again.:( Then I played cards with one of my friends who was kindly sharing her tent with me.I'm getting better!:D I couldn't fall asleep because the senior guys kept talking and scaring the Junior High/ Freshman girls. I'm glad they had fun though, seeing as it's their senior year.:) I will sure miss the seniors too.:(

Me & my friend Blue Seal have been doing this exercise plan I found in a magazine for about a week and a half. We are trying to eat healthier and to exercise more. The first week was about becoming more flexible by doing certain yoga moves. It was very painful, but I am much more flexible now. YOGA IS HARDER THAN IT LOOKS. Just a warning...:)

This week we stated the one that's about burning fat. Now this one is all about constant movement with no stop. On Monday when we first started this workout, we were outside. Dumb idea... we moved to the basement; thank goodness. I feel less sore the more I exercise, and I feel better.:)

Today I went to Goodwill with Blue Seal, Pink Fuzz, and their mom. I will not be doing a "blog haul" because I wouldn't want my male readers' minds to disintegrate from boredom:) I may post some pictures of the folders I got for school. I think the guys may like them even more than some girls would.:)(They are Marvel Superheroes, Rock Band, & Bumblebee from Transformers):D

So, that's what's been happening.:)
How are you doing?I'd love to hear from you, so leave a comment if you want.:)
I am here typing, listening to Regina Spektor and my mom is about to turn the internet modem off.
G'night:)
