I am sick.

Hello. It has been a crazy month so far. There has been a lot of church events, papers and projects, and exhaustion. Over the weekend I got sick and stayed home from school yesterday. I went to a walk-in clinic and turns out I have a sinus infection. Ouch. I am at school, but I have so much makeup work to do. I have an algebra review for a test tomorrow, two papers to write for Earth Science, and a portfolio for English I have barely started.
I am so ready to go home, I still feel bad, but I'm not contagious. My nose and head and throat hurt a bit.

Oh, and it's my 17th birthday today. I don't really care, I just want to get better. Sydney called and left me a voicemail last night and midnight. I listened to it this morning and she beat my parents to the punch of being the first to tell me happy birthday.

It was Hailey's 17th yesterday as well. Yay!:)

Hope you all are well! Spring break is next week, so I hope to show you guys more pictures and prints from my film photography class!

Here is a funny picture of Chandler serenading my friend Myla during an assembly, hehe.:)

The Predicament and My Dedication to Downton

Hello. I have a predicament that I'd like to share with you.  I have been trying to add photos to my blog posts. They start to load and they show up. Whenever I exit, it doesn't show up on the post. I feel like my blogs are always a bit dependent of my photos. I am not a very good writer, so I feel kind of exposed writing a post with no pictures to accompany it.

Anywho, things have been quite busy. I have scheduled for my senior year of high school. I will be taking 4 college level courses next year. I was originally going to take a lower level English class, but my counselor convinced me to take an intensive writing class. I sincerely hope I will be able to handle all the work and still be able to be fully immersed in my youth group.

I solved the problem:)I just made my images smaller!(Image from Google)

Okay so, my new favorite show is Downton Abbey. My mom suggested it to me. We both love English dramas. So I put Season 1 on hold at my local library. After a month or two of waiting, I got it!And I've been in love ever since.

It starts with a family's estate in 1912. The family is the Crawley's, who have three daughters. The heirs to their estate (Downton Abbey) die on the Titanic and they are devastated for the loss of not only their cousins, but that their home will go to an unknown 3rd cousin.

This show not only follows the struggles of the family, but the servants who take care of them. This show is absolutely delicious to watch because you rarely see things from a servant perspective.

I'm not going to go over who the people in the above picture are. I would bore you to death and make you not want to watch the show with my rambling. Please trust me and check this show out. Season 1 is out on DVD and you can watch Season 2 at pbs.org for FREE.YES, FOR FREE! It is so witty and entertaining.give it a chance and you will not be disappointed.

I am currently fangirling over Matthew Crawley. He is the one on the top left. It's more about his character's character and morals and great outlandish attitude that made me a goner...And you can't tell in the black and white photo, but he has the most piercing blue eyes...

Ending Downton Abbey post. Now I'm going to watch the episode I missed.:)

It is well, with my blog reading soul.

Today is the last day of finals. YESSS!!! I just spent my first two classes of the day catching up on all of my unread blogs in Google Reader. There are 0 unread, zero. This hasn't happened in at least 5 months. Fantastic!! I feel so accomplished, not like I was supposed to be working on my story for journalism or anything....

My final for J-2 was a portfolio which I finished on Tuesday. Tutoring is my last final of the day and I'm positive it will be a breeze. I have a four day weekend and I hope to accomplish a lot but have a nice relaxing break too.

I have Earth Science in a few minutes, so I'm going to go ahead and post this without any clever photos. :(

Did I mention it is snowing? Because it is and that makes me happy. Maybe I can get some cool pictures this afternoon. Hope your having a lovely day/night/what er'.

Bye!:)

I dreamt of Josh Hutherson falling asleep in my youth room.... I don't know why.

I woke up this morning and I had my dream fresh in my mind. I kept it for over an hour until I got to school and wrote it down in the lunchroom. Here we go...

I was in my youth room chilling with Sydney. Then all of a sudden, Josh Hutcherson was there. We chatted a bit and then he fell asleep.(My youth room is basically a lot of couches on risers.) Then there was Peeta and he fell asleep on another couch! I started freaking out because I thought I'd have to chose between the two of them. But I realized that technically, they are the same person! I was very happy.

I am currently in Endeavor right now. It is the week before finals and our first day back at school. I'm not as unhappy to be here as I had previously assumed I would be, but I'd still love to be at home eating homemade trail mix and purging my computer of un-needed files. I have nothing to do in this study time really, seeing as I have had only one class so far.(No homework!) My next two classes are honors classes, so I will probably have to use my brain and do homework.

Anyways, I am so excited for the Hunger Games movie coming out on March 23rd. I loved the book series. It can be quite violent, but the writing is exquisite, seriously, check them out. They are so popular, (122 holds on it at my library)you'd probably have to buy them. I think it will be worth it. I won't spoil anything because am am very against spoilers. Peeta is one def' one of my favorite characters, he is so hilarious and loving. I also think Josh Hutcherson (Little Manhattan, Bridge to Terabithia, Journey to the Center of the Earth, RV, ect...) will do a fantastic job. At first I thought it woudn't be the right role for him but my mind has changed the more I thought about it. Plus the (link to trailer) helped. Brilliant trailer, oh my GOSH.

Anyway, I'll write more later, time to go!

It is later!I am home from school.I just did some zumba and I'm eating a short dinner. I have some errands to run, go to the library, then go to church to pray. I'm doing pretty well on my resolutions:)

It's Wednesday morning now and I'm back in Journalism. Here is my current wallpaper:

It's from here. It is fantastic.

So, my goals for this year are going well. I've done some yoga every morning, zumba every night. It's good:) I also have been reading my Bible everyday. I'm going to read 5 pages a day and  my amiga Ashley will be doing it too.:) And I have been way better about controling my eating. So yeah.:)
Also, Sydney made this scarf for me. It's so wonderful. I know your jealous. I wish I could knit you all scarfs:(

It's 2012.

Happy 2012! Oh, the times they are a changing.  I spent my New Year's Eve at Sydney's with her family, some of her family's friends, Jordan, and Matt. We drank sparkling grape juice out of plastic glasses. Haha, good times.... We spent quite some time on this new year's resolution generator. Some of them are hilarious:)

So, this was a odd day. I didn't take a picture. It was so nice, to not have that pressure. I will miss it a bit. Time will tell.

Today I wrote out some goals for this year. I think goals sounds more attainable and better than resolutions. Some are repeats from last year, that I didn't do, like, at all.

Numero Uno: I will do yoga every morning and something cardio-ish every afternoon/night. Now there will be times when I simply can't. But the way I feel after I go through these cards of poses, I feel so relaxed and just better. And I'm so taken with Zumba, I just found some cool videos from real classes on YouTube. Yay for free exercise! It's really fun and it makes me feel like I can dance (even though I can't. That's why I don't dance in front of my mirror.)

Numero Dos: I will avoid fast food at all costs, make conscious decisions of how much and what I eat and drink more water. I ate a doughnut at church today, but that's acceptable, it's a day of rest.;)

Numero Tres:I will repaint my room (probably white) and my dresser (white with rainbow splatters) That is going to be fun.:)

Numero Cuatro: I will be more involved at home. I honestly spend little to no time with my brother, so I'm going to play with him more. I also will do dishes, keep my room cleaner, and respect my parents. They deserve more than just that, but this is what I'm starting with.

Numero Cinco:I will read a devotion every morning and every night I will read my Bible and take notes. By notes, I mean summarizing what I read into more common terms and how it applies to how I need to live. I will also try to pray every day and through out my day. I have started a journal just for prayer requests (from me and other people) I say I'll pray for someone, but I always forget! Writing it down will help a lot.

Sooo... those are my resolutions goals. A bit shorter and more specific than last year's.

Do you like how I changed colors? Just trying to spice it up, hehe:)

So do you have any goals/resolutions? I hope you had a great year, and even if you didn't, it will get better. I'm praying for you all, and if you ever have anything you'd like prayer on, lemme know and I'll write it down.:) Oh and if you had a post about this past year or 2012 and I'm not following your blog, link to it, I'd love to read it.:)

p.s. Can you tell I'm missing Spanish class?
