Hello friends!I've gotten some new followers recently, so welcome!:)And to those not new, thank you for sticking with me.=)

How are you guys?I know many of you are in school, weather it's college, high school,or even junior high. Are you on spring break? I am right now and it's only for this week.

I pet sat this weekend and it went well. There was 3 cats and two dogs.Sally & Kermy, and Zeva, Luna, and ______?I can't remember the other cat!:( They made a few messes, but other than that they were lovely.I couldn't get a picture of them for the life of me!only this ghostly one...

That's Luna.And yes, named after Luna Lovegood.<3

Monday was a huge day.I failed my drivers test(chose wrong defroster, didn't come to a complete stop, and didn't check for traffic) I did check for traffic, but only with my mirrors.

Hailey was after me and she passed!!!=D She did get the other lady(who was nicer) and she is a def better driver than me.So yay!!!(:

I'm going to retake the test, but in another town.I do not want to get the same person as last time. I will need to practice my stops and turning around while driving to check for other cars. After I failed, we went to a National Autism Association office and donated the money Hailey and I raised at our birthday party.

I was a bit ticked off for a while about failing, but then my mom offered to take me shopping.We didn't have a huge "I'm a girl and when I'm upset, I kill the bank" spree, we went to Goodwill!:) I got a pair of khaki shorts for Choir Tour, and a cute Charlotte Ruse romper I love. I will need to add some form of straps to it, but I really like it.Rompers are like dresses, but comnfortabler!!!:)

When we got home, I got a check in the mail from my grandparents.It made me have enough for the camera!!!

We went to the bank, cashed the check.Then we went to the camera specialty store and we got the Nikon D3100. I also got the nice guy Rick who works there to attach the strap, lens, and everything for me.

I also got a uv lens protector and a 3 year warranty. I'm quite proud that I saved up for all this myself. I now have about 6 dollars left over to save for my next goal, haha.:D

I don't have a case yet, but need one to keep my baby safe. I also want to get a spare battery and some kind of screen protector or cleaner of some sort.

So that is whats going on with me.How are you?Why is today awesome?

So, I haven't blogged since last Saturday.Now it's Friday.Ugh, Rebecca Black......

ANYWAY.

I'm 16!!!!:D 

I have some pictures to post, but I am unable to seeing as I'm in Journalism now. That Snapepaca up there is one of our assignments. I love this class so much.

So, I'm 16 now.It doesn't feel any different than 15, but it sure will when I get my licence. I have been practicing parallel parking all week and I've gotten to the point of "passable", which is great, seeing as I haven't done a good park that's anywhere near passable in about two weeks...

My mom is already using the fact that I'm 16 to try to justify that I'm old enough to clean my room and take care of myself.Sigh.

I plan on taking the test on Monday.Please pray for me, I will need all the help I can get.;)

After today, Spring Break is all next week for me. I never go anywhere with my family or anything, but it's still nice to be home. I plan on:

. dedicating 3 hours of everyday towards my two main projects for school + any other school work.

.getting my licence

.going to lunch with my youth group on Tuesday(hopefully I will pass and can drive myself there.;D)

.driving where ever  want(with parental permission of course...)

. clean room/spring cleaning

.exercise

.lean how to cook something.I need to cook something other than pizza, Ramen, and water.

.And blog/relaxed time!!:)

Yellow amigos(Translation:Hello friends)

It's so funny how my last post was about being consistent with, well, EVERYTHING.That post was February 28th I believe?

There are countless things happening. Lots to say.I'm in Journalism and finished my 2nd draft so I have time.

1.Lent/God. I met with one of my accountability partners Tuesday. I wished the other one could've come, but she had to babysit. As you may or may not know, yesterday was Ash Wednesday. I went to my church before school and did a devotion on Lent.Then I wrote down all that I'm doing for Lent.I'm giving up time online to spend more time reading the Bible and writing in my journal.I'm also going to pray for my family everyday. I started a new study on Jesus that I found in the back of my bible.I really like it so far.:) I had a cross of ashes and water drawn on my forehead by my assistant youth pastor and I went to the alter and prayed and put the paper there.
   There were 27 people who either a.laughed at me, b.scoffed at me, or c.asked me about the cross on my forehead. I'm not saying that to make anyone feel bad for me.I'm glad people noticed. I think I made people aware of Jesus more trough that cross than any of my actions or words. I honestly hope I explained what lent and ash Wednesday were about. (By the way, I'm Methodist, not Catholic.I got that question a lot yesterday.:)
     Last night I went and saw The Grace Card with my youth group.It was a really good movie, and I cried a little. I highly recommend you see it, it was very powerful and made me think more about my own life and what grace and love really is.

2.SCHOOL. Oh my gosh. I have two tests this week, two next week, one Spanish essay/project due today, and one essay due next week.It is horrible, not to mention two huge projects for history and photography in April. The good thing is that the project for history is on Dorthea Lange, a fabulous photographer from the Depression.=) And the photography project is easy, just cutting out certain pictures from magazines and putting em' altogether.

3.Sweet 16.3 days till the partay, 4 till my actual birthday. 3 days till Hailey's birthday. Isn't it crazy how were were born just 1 day apart? We are having a joint 16th birthday party.I'm super excited, because a lot of our friend are coming.And we aren't getting presents.We are asking for donations to the NAA(National Autism Association). No specific amount, just how ever much the person can and wants to give. It was Hailey's idea.She is such a kind person.And we honestly don't need anything.Plus, who'd want to buy two present for one party?Gross, I wouldn't...
     I normally get some money from relatives for my birthday, which might pay for my baby.(No not a baby, a camera I call baby.:D)D3100, here I come.
     I will take the drivers test when I feel ready.Still need to sharpen my parking skills.;)

4.365. I'm taking, just they are on my camera still.Opps....

5.Job. I'm going to Jan & Fred's to meet the pets and see how to take care of them.I will pet sit them next weekend.Yay, more $$ towards my baby!(=

Today was quite a productive Saturday. I put up clothes, gathered dirty laundry and put it in the hamper, stuffed clutter under the bed, and made a corner of my room super spiffy.:) It is now a nice, artsy, reading nook. The Hunger Games series (by Suzanne Collins) is an intense, numbing, incredible futuristic story. It is fantastic, but can be a bit graphic.

My advice is to buy them or borrow them from a friend.But, make a book cover for it, because some people like to spoil parts of it, and even tell you false information about what will happen; which both angers and annoys me with the passion of a thousand suns.

I am currently reading 3 books right now.

Sorcerer's Stone is a re-read(10th time), and that causes me to read with not as much intensity as the first time.But still a vital part of the Harry Potter series, my favorite fictional series.

Paper Towns is new to me, but John Green's work is not.I read Looking For Alaska this past fall I believe and I believe I liked it more than Paper Towns, but I'm only about half-way trough.We'll see, but I am enjoying it nevertheless.:)

Lord of the Flies is something I have to read for English, but I can't stop reading!I need to find out what happens.I may be required to read this for class, but I've been interested in reading this since I heard Nathan(Corbin Bleu) mention it on Flight 29 Down.

I have been reading very sparingly to the play last weekend/ rehearsals.:(

OH.MY.GOSH.GUESS.WHAT?

I got a JOB!!!!!!=D

No, I'm still not 16 yet....(March 13th, it's coming up!!!;)

No, I haven't started....

And NO it isn't fast food or retail.

I'm going to pet sit!!!I don't know if I told you, but I've been pet siting  for several years for my neighbors and friends. But my main source of income came from my old next door neighbors. They had an old golden poodle mix named Maverick[who died:(] but got Bandit (adorable black and white dog) and Scamp(carmel and white puppy) soon after Maverick passed away. I pet sat these three dogs for about 5 years, I grew very attached. They moved away last spring.:(

I'm afraid I don't have a digital picture of Maverick, but I will look around for one of him.

Anyways, they moved far far away, so my occasional 10 bucks every few months was gone.It was never about the money for me though, I missed my lovely neighbors and my dogs, that in my mind were partially mine.

My old neighbors(Fred & Jan) who watched me grow up need me to pet sit several cats and their dog for a month (April).

I will have to let the dog out for about 30 minutes, feed all of them, clean up the dog's souvenirs of delicious dog food, clean the litter box, give one of the kitty's eye medicine, and of course give them all attention.  

This will happen twice a day, morning and evening.I will have to get up around 5 in the morning in able to get to my neighbor's new home, take care of things, give the doggie his 30 minutes outside..... Then drive back home and get ready for school.

By the time Fred and Jan leave to visit family for a couple weeks, I will be 16 and hopefully have my license.This job requires so much dedication, but I'm up for it! And I know my dad will help me out if there is something going on and I need him to take care of the pets.

And the pay, (I feel like a greedy person saying this..) is fantastic. I can complete my goal for my beloved Nikon D3100 and have much left over that I will probably put in my savings.

I told my youth director about this opportunity and she said her neighbors are always needing pet sitters, and asked me to make a flyer with my info on it to give to them.That got me to thinking, if I can't land a flexible summer job, I could just start my own pet sitting business.I love animals, I've had pet siting experience since I was 7, have my licence by summer for sure. Eh!?Good idea?

Did you have any small job or allowance when you were little(or my age)? I never had allowance, or got paid for chores, but my parents gave me money if I needed it for school or really wanted something.;)

Wow, I think that's enough of my rambling for tonight.
