Warning:Beautiful Art and lots of Pictures (B.E.D.D. Day 4)

Today was uneventful.I woke up, worked on Christmas presents, discussed track with my parents, went to the gym and did homework. What was eventful was that artsy-fartsy event I told you about yesterday.

We picked up Blue Seal and headed downtown.I've never been there that much, so it was basically new territory.I printed out a map and list of events, and we highlighted the ones we wanted to go to.We found some free parking, walked a little and then went to this vintage store I've wanted to go to for over a year now.It was love at first sight. They had these homemade or old clothing, accessories, shoes....It was beautiful.
A Dino on a plaid dress:)

Really pretty jewelry tree.
Then we saw these beauties.

These hats are so cool!

Blue Seal bought one of them and I asked "Who's that for?"She gave me a weird look and said nothing. So I picked up a hat and bought it.Ha, take that!: D
A local college had a presentation of interior design students' work.I definitely got some ideas for my future house:)
I love the carpet and half-record.

Spray paint tires, so awesome.(These were all focused on being environmentally aware.)

Most pretty, delicate bike ever.

I like the empty picture frame, waiting to be filled.

Must do that with my shelves!Maybe a bird stencil?

Nice chair, a bit afraid to sit in it though...

A door table, amazing!

Books I now want to read.

Favorite out of all things there!:)

We went to many art galleries and photography studios.

Blue Seal making a Christmas card.
I loved the simplicity of this photography studio, so open and beautiful...
On the way to the next gallery, we discovered a hopscotch drawing!

I love this horse! So cute and odd!

I love this painting. It's title was "Untitled".

Coolest chairs EVER.

Katie really liked this one.

Ha ha : )

Another empty frame to be filled!

I found more horses!:D
The inside of the chair, fantastic!
I liked these ones, they made me think.

"Blue Seal?"
"Yeah?"
"We should act like silly teen girls and take pictures via mirror."
"Um...okay?"
Then we went to a hot glass studio. It was sweet.

Here they are putting stripes on the vase(Sorry for the camera shake!)
Figures this one guy made with an open flame.Beautiful.

I love panorama-ing:)

We then went to a library/coffee shop.
So artsy.
Another vintage shop and art gallery.

I want those frames!

:)

The downstairs of this gallery had such a cool wall!
This is a neat photo!Super neat!

Another reason I need a door...

They made the old chimney a display area.I'm amazed.

"You already possess everything necessary to become great"
Really like this:)

This was cool, especially since I just watched Evan Almighty.:)
$18,000, yikes!
Super duper long post, congrats if you made it through it all!:)I really like this, and I talked to a few photographers and I'm really inspired to get better at it.:)Maybe get my own studio downtown? But who knows?God does.Who knows where he'll take me...=)
What art type stuff are you interested in? What's your passion?Do you want it to be your career?Talk with me in the comments!I love hearing from you.(:

Peanut the Hamster & My Day (B.E.D.D. Day 3)

(Random drawing on a nearby biology desk.It reads;" Hello.I'm Charles the Lion".I took a picture because I knew it wouldn't last forever, the cornucopia of awesome...

Speaking of awesome. This is Peanut the hamster, our class pet who is constantly tortured and prodded by sophomores all throughout my school.(Not me of course..)

My amigo Collin wanted me to take a picture of this tea, so I did.

He then wanted to take a picture. He's quite patriotic.

"It's hard to to a picture of you and Peanut when you keep putting your hand in front of him..."

Didn't get  Peanut in that one.

I kinda dig it..

Collin is totally freaking out, believe me.

He crawled in my camera bag, so cute!

"I want out, it's dark and smells like leather!"

Collin looks so evil, heh heh..

My new friend Kristen with Peanut.

Today was pretty awesome. And it just keeps getting better.

I had two pieces of chocolate, three Rollo's, and three doughnut holes this morning. Plus I watched a Rob Bell video, which started my day right. In Journalism, we took notes and reviewed sports photography. I contributed more than usual, which was cool.We then practiced with the Cannon Rebels and watched my teacher act crazy, kicking and throwing a soccer ball so we could practice. It was very fun.I love using the Rebels, I feel like a real photographer:)

English, we had a perimeter alert. We sat and talked on the floor for the remainder of class, fun!!!:)

The above pictures were taken in biology, and we were taking a test.My teacher is nice, but doesn't catch a thing. The test was hard though. Hence the title; "Big Bad Killer Biology Test, Victim  (insert name here)  Time & date of demise              "
Tonight I will be going with Blue Seal to a artsy fartsy event that I'm soooo excited for!!!I plan to take many pictures and share that experience with you tomorrow!
Thanks for reading guys!:)

Track & Field (B.E.D.D. Day 2)

So, track off season started on Tuesday.I'm questioning weather I should continue with track or not.
Back story:I've been sprinting/hurdling and taking part on relays since 7th grade. My extended family are big track people and came to my meets whenever they could.I was one of the key athletes on the team in middle school. Then I came to high school.
When I started track as a freshman, I only went to two off seasons then practice started.I soon realized I was the slowest of the sprinters.I still was a regular on the 4x100 relay. At the end of season banquet, my coach said I was hard-working.Even so, what do I really get out of track?
LIST TIME!!!:D
In Favor of Track
  1. I get tan 2 months earlier than the rest of everyone else(Naturally, spending 2.5 hours after school running in the sun...)
  2.  I get in shape.
  3. Out of school for meets
  4. I like to run relays, their my favorite.
  5. It'll look great on a college application
  6. I'd not be spending as much time with my track buddies, plus I'd disappoint them and my family.:(
Nay on Track
    1. I spend at least 12 hours a week for after school practice(Not even counting meets....those I don't get home till' 10:30!)
    2. My grades suffer, I can't participate in clubs and my Internet obsession suffers:(
    3. I could be spending my time developing my photography skills.
    4. I can tan and work on my abs my own way.
    5. I could get a job to help out my parents financially and my Nikon D5000 fund.
    6. It costs my parents money and time to pick me up from practice and going to meets and such.
    7.  I'm not a brilliant runner, and I don't want to run in college.
So the nays over weigh the yays.Let me divulge into the last three days.Tuesday; first day of off-season:It was awful. We ran a lot and I almost threw up.I am very out of shape but still...it never hurt that bad.My legs and rear end have been sore since.Today wasn't near as bad.I was the only girl (maybe lots saw how hard it was the first day and didn't want to do it again?) and we did some running, ab work, and dot drills(feet agility). Very awesome, and much easier than before.

So, what do you think I should I do? I've asked a lot of people and got mixed answers.I have until February 28th to decide. Honestly I could talk to my coach and explain about the $$$ and ask for exercises for me to do at home to prepare for next year.Hey, maybe things will change by then.I know you guys are very smart people and I value your thoughts.

I didn't have time to take pictures today so here's two I did take.:)

    I
My mom got me some old school Harry Potter books:)
On the way to school, My dad's been denying me driving rights:(

Funny story bout' today: I was riding my wheelie office chair down the hall to get some ice for my legs, and my mom said "That's moronic" "No it's not, and if it is, then I'm proud of it!"Reference to this. People who follow Callie and Dave's lives are lovingly know as "moore-ons"I am one of them:)
Hope you are all doing well,

Blog Every Day (in) December (Day 1)

    In short, B.E.D.D.

My Internet friend Claire wrote a post about B.E.D.D; aka blog everyday in December. I thought this would be a great way to document the last 31 days of 2010.*sniff*
Besides writing about my mundane life, I wrote down some ideas of things to write about in English today. I plan on reviewing books, movies, hi-lighting undiscovered bloggers, and photography posts. Any thing you want me to write about or any questions you have for me, I want to know what you guys like to see from this blog.:)
Today was pretty good and I know it will get better. In English ll H, we talked about birds pooping on humans and a linguist being confused with my teacher's voice.I love that class, especially my teacher.:)Quote from my English teacher "We've worn shoes for a long time now.": D I'm super sore from track off season, muscles I ever discovered in my 3 years of track are in pain no matter what.

But enough about my pain.Wanna see some pictures?

    The Christmas stockings are up.:)

My little brother's thanksgiving craft, abandoned outside now Christmas is upon us.

    "Why don't you love me?!?!"

The pool ring is now our leaf pile.

    Cool shadows

I love this lamp so much.

This stray cat hangs in our yard. Friendly and a great subject.:)

With the slight angle, looks like the earth after spinning really fast, know what I'm talking about?

Guess what my brother broke not 30 minutes after photographing it?

    Makes a lovely hat though...

Great for lighting situations if natural light isn't an option.

Glasses glare will still exist.(I normally wear contacts)

What photos did you like? I crave constructive criticism... *wink wink*Off to church, ciao!
